SMM, March 12: Today, rare earth market prices showed slight fluctuations. Among them, the price of Pr-Nd oxide rose to 443,000-446,000 yuan/mt, dysprosium oxide remained stable at 1.7-1.71 million yuan/mt. The price of terbium oxide increased to 6.55-6.6 million yuan/mt, gadolinium oxide rose to 165,000-167,000 yuan/mt, holmium oxide prices climbed to 46.6-47 yuan/mt, while erbium oxide remained at 295,000-299,000 yuan/mt.

In the metal market, Pr-Nd alloy remained at 542,000-546,000 yuan/mt, while dysprosium-iron alloy stabilized at 1.64-1.66 million yuan/mt. Meanwhile, terbium metal prices increased to 8.13-8.17 million yuan/mt, gadolinium-iron rose to 159,000-162,000 yuan/mt, and lanthanum-cerium metal remained at 16,500-18,500 yuan/mt. Currently, the light rare earth market prices are generally stable, with normal transactions and moderate procurement demand, resulting in limited price fluctuations. Heavy rare earth prices showed a steady upward trend, with increased market activity and relatively small price fluctuations. At present, the tight supply situation in the rare earth raw material market has not eased, and spot supply for some materials is tight. Although downstream magnet manufacturers have restocking demand, their procurement remains cautious, mainly focusing on meeting immediate needs. Rare earth prices are expected to continue consolidating in the short term.
